TRUSTEE ASSOCIATE
In addition to Full Trustees, we are also seeking a small
number of Trustee Associates. The Trustee Fellow is
designed to provide individuals with the opportunity to gain
insight into the responsibilities and workings of a charity
board, while building confidence, skills, and experience in
governance – importantly without the responsibilities of a
Full Trustee.
This is a developmental position for those who aspire to
become full trustees in the future but currently lack the
experience and/or confidence to take on the full role.
Trustee Fellows attend board meetings and relevant subcommittees, observe and contribute to Board discussions,
offering insights and perspectives - participate in trustee
training, learning sessions, and strategic planning workshops,
and engage with Groundwork CLM’s mission, values, and
programmes.
You will receive support and guidance from a dedicated
mentor and the Chair/Exec Director – with the aim of
building readiness for future trustee responsibilities
– either within Groundwork or elsewhere.
Importantly, Trustee Fellows do not carry legal
responsibilities or voting rights. The role is non-executive and
advisory in nature, intended to support learning and
development.
